Year to Date, home values are holding and getting stronger in many cases... Year to date transactions are up across Sussex County, with the minor exception of East of Rt. 1.  The average home price is strong across Sussex County as well, with the area between Rts 1 and 113 down slightly from a year ago. Interest rates saw little change from the week prior and are holding.  We're hearing that rates may come down in 2025, but at this time that's not a certainty.   ... to sum it up.  Year over Year we're seeing that buyers and sellers are still out there and ready, willing and able to get deals done.  Home prices have stayed strong in spite of interest rates and it is expected that they will continue to be strong in our coastal county.
