Ending strong, November sees increases in transactions and average home prices... Year over Year, November has seen a 12 percent increase in the total number of closings and a 24% increase in the Average Closed Price.  This is predominately attributed to several very high dollar properties being closed on, as you can see in the increase compared to the month prior. Interest rates continue to beat last years rates although slightly higher than in October.   ... to sum it up.  November ended with a very strong week of closings, last week,  pushing the month over last year.  Buyers are still showing significant interest in making moves while Sellers are more often then not meeting Buyers below their initial list price.  Current home sales seem fairly unfazed by the current interest rates as sellers are more willing to negotiate with price reductions and rate buy-downs.
