The Main Story...

I was recently asked, is this a good time to buy...  There's never a bad time to buy, as long as you consider what is important to you.

We've seen considerable growth in new listings this year vs. a year ago, year to date. However, we're still running behind 2019 (pre-Covid) by about 1,000 new listings

October Mortgage rates upticked again last week pulling the average for the month slightly higher.  While some had thought that we might see another Fed rate reduction in November, this trend indicates that likely won't happen.

To sum it up... 

 

There is never a wrong time to Sell or Buy, you just need to know how to navigate the market to make it work for you. 

Although rates seem to be bouncing around in the low 6%'s, relatively lower inventory levels are keeping prices firm.
