Although Resale inventories are higher, Resale closings are down... but, Resale prices aren't .... Year to Date through April   Compared to a year ago, Resale only Closings were down 4% year to date at the end of April; while the average closed price was up 3.4% over the same time period.   Mortgage rates came down last week, and although the national average is still slightly over 7%, local lenders are quoting rates in the high 6%'s.  Hopefully, this will be a continuing trend.
