March ended a little lack-luster.  Did the Easter calendar shift have something to do with it?? March 2024   Closings for March were down compared to a year ago.  With Easter earlier this year, people taking the week off for travel and one fewer work day last week vs. a year ago, may have had a impact and might come out in the wash in April.  Home prices were down a touch from February, but still up over last year and the 5 year average. Interest Rates came down a little last week, but not enough to materially change the month to date average.  April rates last year were lower than those in March, so we may expect to see rates come down in the coming weeks.
