... Mortgage Rates are dropping rapidly.... Now is the time for both Buyers and Sellers to consider making a move.

November 2023
 

Buyer demand in November continued to be strong with all quadrants of Sussex County reporting increases over last year; with the exception of East of Rt.  1.  This has been the trend all year, but November is the first month where Closings increased over the same month a year ago.

Interest rates continue to come down and we see continued opportunities for both buyers and sellers in this evolving market.

To sum it up... 


With Days on Market hovering around 24 days on average and Closings increasing to last year, Buyer demand is still robust.

The average home sold price east of Rt 13 is still higher than a year ago and the 5 year average.

Interest Rates continue to decrease as the weeks go on and some boutique lenders who hold mortgages in-house are able to offer rates below the national average as well as offering some creative solutions to offset current market trends.  Ask me for more information, if you're interested.
